Welcome...
to the Golden Pot- we trust you will find the information contained of interest and beneficial prior to your visit.
The original building dates back some 350 years. Today, The Golden Pot is an established north Hampshire hostelry which prides itself on innovative cuisine with both traditional and modern menu items.
Our food is homemade and prepared on the premises by Michelin trained Chefs.
The ambience is cosy and warm. Seasonal flowers decorate the inside and outside of the picturesque building, which features a large double-sided fireplace. Guests are provided full table service for both lunch and dinner.
The extensive menus are complemented by a wine list selected from Liberty Wines, there are 8 wines available by the glass (4 each, of red and white).
In addition 8 beers and ciders are on draught - including 3 classic cask ales supplied by Greene King.
Families and children are welcomed, and we have a 'junior guest menu' on offer. Comfortable outdoor tables and chairs are available during fine weather - with The Snug and Vineyard being popular outside seating areas.
Reservations are welcomed and recommended particularly at weekends and for our popular Sunday lunch.
Group bookings are catered for, with the interior layout of the building lending itself well for private parties of up to 30 guests. The landlord, John Calder, will provide personalised service to make the event memorable whilst attending to your particular needs.
Monday evenings are popular with live music from 7.30 to 10.00pm; and a unique Rösti menu, supplemented with additional items.
We look forward to your visit, should you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
